Sweet and in love . . . that’s Holly and Dave. I had a great time getting to know the both of them a few weeks ago. Dave and Holly were both super relaxed, excited, and welcomed me in with open arms. Man . . . Dave has some spunk! =) I enjoyed every minute of their special day and especially seeing the two interact with each other. That’s what it is all about. Thank you guys for being so open and inviting.

I had the pleasure of taking photos of one of my good friends and her new husband the other day.  We don’t get to see each other alot and i jumped at the opportunity to take photos of them.  Chelsea and Ryan are so beautiful inside and out.  It was so fun to work with them and get to know Ryan even better.  I had a blast.  Thanks again for taking me out for Mexican after wards.  Lets do it again soon.  Here are a few of my favorites.

I had a blast with the Fosters the other day. Pastor David and his lovely wife Paula were so fun. They are pastors at the church The Gathering. They were so easy to work with and kept me laughing. Here are a few head shots and couple shots that were needed for their website and brochures. Thanks for being such an inspiring couple.

I went over to Mr. Finn’s house on Saturday to take some photos of him and his beautiful new “baby brother.” Both were so good. Last time I saw Finn was last fall when I took his family photos. He is such a big boy now and so intuitive. He loved my camera and wanted to know what everything did . . . looks like it might be a photographer in the making. I had a great time getting to know my friend better along with her 2 nieces and nephew last week. These kids had so much spunk and personality. It was about 95 degrees outside and not one time did they complain about the heat. I followed them around and got some really adorable candid shots. The group shots were a little tougher because of the ages 2, 4, and 6- but I managed to get a few good ones of all three and of my friend and the three kids. That was the biggest obstacle- but we all overcame it and won! Big thanks to mom for bringing the kids out for the evening. Melissa- thanks so much for letting me capture your family. Hope you enjoy them.

Ok so I just came across this photo from Saturday night.  We went out for a little surprise dinner for my parents 30th wedding anniversary.  My cousin really got into his cake!  Get it buddy!

So I was off last Saturday to take photos of my nephew. He turned two in November so we are a little late on his two year old pictures. I was really excited and he is just so stinking cute. I also had some really great places to take him. So i got to his house and the thought that was in the back on my mind all week came true. It was just too hot. The poor guy was sweating just standing there. So we went swimming instead. =) I love swimming so I was fine with the decision- but i was determined to take his picture. Here are some fun moments in the sun. His 4 year old brother joined us swimming. He is getting so handsome. Thanks to both of you for being so darn cute!

So I’m really excited about everything that will be going on this summer. I have a couple weddings, several families, engagement photos and modeling photos that i will be taking this summer. Now that i think about all of that at one time- I get a tiny bit overwhelmed and really excited. Tomorrow i am taking my cousin’s 2 year pictures- which i am really excited about. He is adorable. I also plan if I have time to grab his brother and sister, dress them up in crazy “dress-up” outfits and get them acting goofy.

Sunday I am taking photos of a co-worker and her 3 nieces and nephews. It’s going to be a birthday present for her brother- which is a great idea. I plan on getting photos of the four of them together but also some of the kids by themselves. I know her brother will love it- I am also sure his wife will love his birthday present probably more than he will.

I met with Holly a few days ago. I am shooting her wedding in a few weeks. I am really excited about this wedding. Holly is super sweet and ready to get hitched! I think we found a cute park by the church to take photos at before and after the wedding. I’m going to go scout it out soon.
